Leica DISTO E7100i Laser Measuring Tape

I've always wanted a laser measuring tape for the house, but I didn't realize just how useful they could be.

Recently I picked up the Leica DISTO E7100i

I've used it for a number of projects:

• Measuring the dimensions of my son and daughter's room so we could make an at scale drawing to layout furniture

• Measuring window dimensions for some Lutron Serena automated shades

It's crazy accurate - much better than me with a measuring tape.
