After making coffee, our next most used appliance is probably our toaster oven. For a few decades now I’ve had a toaster oven that we use for lots of small cooking and re-heating needs (in addition to warming bread).
A few years ago I discovered the magic of infrared toaster technology. Instead of heating elements (which takes time), infrared toaster are instantly on - greatly reducing the time it takes to do most toasting tasks. You can read my previous review of the Panasonic FlashXpress Toaster Oven.
When I was picking out appliances for our Tiny House Cabin, I discovered Balmuda. They only make a few kitchen appliances but each one looks fantastic. The toaster is probably their signature product.
One feature of this toaster is that you can pour in a tiny amount of water and it will use this to create steam, which they claim makes even better toast. I tend to agree, but that’s not what I love about this Toaster.
I think aesthetically and functionally it’s in a league of its own. It’s also TINY which I appreciate. The controls are a breeze to use as well.
We are very pleased with this purchase and I think you’ll enjoy this if you’d like to upgrade your toaster.
